- The QR code is invalid or incorrect
Check your app's and your device's time and date settings. They might be out of sync. Adjust the settings to fix it.
For example, on Android's Google Authenticator, go to the main menu, tap More → Settings → Time correction for codes → Sync now. The app will confirm the sync, and you can request the code again.
If you can't scan the QR code with your phone’s camera, you can enter it manually.
- The authentication code is invalid
The app updates codes regularly, so your code might be outdated. Check the app and try again. Also, make sure you're using the codes generated for your Stockity account. You can also use one of the recovery codes to log in.
- The recovery code is invalid
The platform doesn’t accept codes with dashes (–) in place of hyphens (-) and caps letters (ABC) in place of small ones (abc). The code you type in and the one you’ve saved must match exactly, so it’s better just to copy and paste.
Another issue might be that you’ve already used this code. In this case, try another recovery or authentication code. Remember, recovery codes are one-time use, so keep them updated.
